Our Books

Birthday Girl

Sixteen-year-old Tracey Burns has been confined to a single room for two years. One night, she slips to freedom and inadvertently sets herself on a journey that takes her further away from the one thing she wants most: to find the mother who left her behind.

After the Strawberry

Lydia Poole wants to be a good person—the kind of person who does everything right and deserves to be loved. To accomplish this, she eats only one cup of Cheerios per day and lets her weight drop below ninety pounds. Even as she’s hospitalized for anorexia, Lydia walks the line between hoping for death and wanting life.
