Thank you for your interest in Seedpod Publishing. We publish literary fiction, creative non-fiction, and memoir. We do not publish genre fiction or poetry (there are so very many good publishers for those already). We accept submissions directly from authors (including first time authors) as well as from literary agents. Before sending anything, please make sure you’ve looked at some of our other books. Our interests are tough to pin down in a sentence but include stories that create visceral experiences for the reader, using the ineffable to tell us something about what it means to be human. Some books clearly don’t fit, so it’s best to have some idea of what we might like.

TWITTER STORIES

A great way to join our family of writers is to submit a Twitter story.Twitter stories are very short stories (140 characters or less) that we will publish on our Twitter stream. Remember to leave room to include your byline.
As in our longer stories, in our Twitter stories, we hope to create emotive experiences for the reader, uncovering something about what it means to be human. We’re interested in real stories. Literary stories. Flash fiction or micro-memoir are perfect. Take a look at our Twitter stream to see some examples.
